Java Cookbook: New Recipes

Of course Java is always growing, and your obedient scribe is always learning more about Java. Here are some recipes that might be included in a future edition of the Java Cookbook. None of these is cast in stone, and this is not a committment.

Split chapter 1? Chapter 1 is 33 pages. I am thinking of moving the parts to do with automation - Ant, Unit Testing, and a few more, into a separate chapter, which would also include one recipe on Maven, and the new recipe on Automating Build Date/Version.
